One night @Lobster Bar of Island Shangri-La Hong Kong.

I'm poor English and first time write English blog, hope you all can read and understand.


Jared Brown who's Sipsmith Master Distiller in the world and with Anistatia Miller have written more than 30 books including  Shaken Not Stirred®: A Celebration of the Martini,Champagne Cocktails, Cuban Cocktails, The Mixellany Guide to Vermouth & Other Aperitifs, and their latest title The Deans of Drink(Informations from Internet).


Jared Brown only visit HK for few days and he stay in Island Shangri-La Hong Kong. Tonight we are lucky that he's the only night here to show us his special cocktails @Lobster Bar(The World's 50 Best Bar 2015. Congratulations) and great conversation with us. Thanks for inviting us. 


We found many of his fans, famous bartenders of Hong Kong also come to visit him and we all have lots of fun. Drinks99 was created a Facebook event for Jared Brown and nearly full house in Tuesday. I had tried some of his special cocktails and some snacks of Lobster Bar. 


The Last Word: Sour and little bit strong. Good for alcoholic. 


The Summer Cup Spritz: Colourful cocktail with fresh fruit inside, not too strong, little bit sweet and good for girl.


The Ultimate G&T: Gin Tonic in big glass, actually I don't like drink Gin Tonic but this one can acceptable. Seem like drink Vodka Redbull need contain in tall big glass. You can compare what different of small and big glass. 


We had ordered some snacks too. Lobster Empanadas, Fish & Chips and Fresh Shucked Oyster. Some didn't tried and just take photos. 


Lobster Empanadas: Seem like a fried dumpling, crispy pastry with lobster, tarragon and smoke paprika aioli inside. Not many stuffing inside but I love the texture and ate 2 pieces.


Fish & Chips: I tried one piece of fried fish, also crispy pastry and the fish slippery. Fried Chips are good snacks for people drink alcohol.


Fresh Shucked Oyster: Forgot what country of the oyster, maybe drunk already. I tried two oysters, they're fresh and little bit salty. 


Great night chatting with Jared Brown, friends of my table, my other friends who come visit Jared Brown, staff of Island Shangri-La. If you missed the event of tonight, he will be in HKCEC at 6pm on 2015-09-09(Wed) and will in The Pawn for showing his cocktails between 8-11pm on 2015-09-10(Thur)
